How It Works
Van Life Work & Travel connects women travelers with hosts through a straightforward work-exchange: your time and skills for a safe place to stay. From creating a profile to confirming details and completing your stay, the process is designed to keep both sides informed from the start.
Create Your Profile
It all starts with a profile. Travelers share their skills, availability, and rig so hosts can learn more about who they are and the kind of help they can offer.
Hosts describe their property, the work needed, and what is offered in return, such as a parking spot, hookups, or other available amenities. This helps set expectations before anyone connects.
Browse and Connect
Once profiles are created, travelers can search for stays by location, type of work, and amenities. From there, they can message hosts directly to ask questions, discuss availability, and confirm the details before making plans.
This step gives both sides the opportunity to make sure the exchange feels like the right fit.
Stay and Work
After the details are confirmed, travelers arrive ready to help. Most stays involve 3–5 hours of work per day in exchange for a parking spot, hookups, and a welcoming place to land.
Work may include gardening, animal care, general upkeep, or other property support based on the host’s needs.
Leave a Review
When the stay is complete, both hosts and travelers can share their experience through a review. These reviews help future members understand what to expect and support trust throughout the Van Life Work & Travel community.
Create your profile, connect with the right host or traveler, and take part in a work-exchange community designed for women living and traveling in vans.
